Victim and Witness Services

If you are a victim or witness you do not need to deal with it alone. Being a victim of any of the above, giving evidence against someone else or going to court are things that are difficult for anyone to deal with.

The good news is, support is there for you. Your local police and council officers are there to support you along the way and guide you to any further support services that you might need.

You can also contact Victim Support (Kent) on 0845 389 9527, who will be happy to talk to you and arrange a visit if you would prefer. Victim Support website.

Giving you information about local offenders

The Casey report highlighted that people feel safer and more confident in their community if they are kept informed. Information and updates about local convictions can be found in the free local paper, Kent Police newsletters and in leaflets that are delivered to the local community when an offence has taken place near by and an offender has been convicted.
