Community Pastors

Launched on the 29th October 2010 in Broadstairs

The Community Pastors initiative works in partnership with Churches and the Thanet Community Safety Partnership including Community Partners and the Local Authority.

The Community Pastors are Christian volunteers from different working to put the Church back into the heart of our communities by listening to, engaging with and genuinely caring for peoples’ wellbeing on the streets late on Saturday nights. They will direct anyone in need to a place of support and safety, to the SOS Trailer for help and advice and for those most vulnerable, help get them safely home.
